EPA's Design for the Environment (DfE) Program
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency established the "Design for the Environment" Program with one key purpose: "to recognize and encourage the formulation of products with environmentally preferable chemistry." Pioneer has partnered with the DfE program to help meet that goal and advance the environmental, technological and efficiency benefits of current and future products.
Pioneer and the EPA agree: product manufacturers can improve the environmental and health profile of products as breakthroughs occur and we operationalize state-of-the-art techniques.
Pioneer put this conviction to work with a nearly two-year effort to earn DfE recognition and bring Brite Stripe Ultra-Friendly to customers. Potential ingredients were traced to their source and evaluated from all angles. Many were ruled out. Only those that could deliver outstanding performance with environmental stewardship were included.
Here's the good news: we did the hard work so that yours can be as easy as simply applying the paint.
